Tarland ChairArt is a community art project now based in Tarland. Launched in 2014 it is open to everyone of any age group. Participants are invited to find a chair and paint or decorate it, or to make a chair out of any material. No previous artistic experience is required. No registration is required. Just let us know that you plan to do a chair and you will be part of our next series of events. The idea is just to enjoy being creative.

You can see examples of previous years' chairs in "Gallery".

Exhibitions take place in September into October each year so you need to plan to have your chair ready for then.

The chairs are exhibited at various venues in and around Tarland and further afield. Look at the "News" page for up to date details.

At the end of the season chairs are auctioned and all the funds raised go to local charities.

To take part just contact us (see "Contact us") and with your consent we will put your name on our emailing list.
